Annie, the Tanzanian Tooth Fairy, will present to the club on September 26. Annie has spoken to us before about her childhood, her cancer battle, and her dedication to service. Her personal story itself is quite miraculous and the work she is doing in Tanzania is unbelievable, inspirational, and incredible. Nine years ago she made her first six-month trip and didn't expect to take another. She stopped her medical treatments and went to help others. The Glenwood Springs native was on a mission. As we learned, she is teamed up with a flying medical team. The team works in conditions that many of us wouldn't tolerate for a weekend, let alone 6 months. The medical care the team provides along with the dental care Annie provides is a story that was heartwarming.
