One of the club's scholarship recipient for this year attended our meeting on Friday with his parents. Jacob Roggie thanked the club and filled us in on his future plans. Roggie said, "Your scholarship helped me make decisions for my future."
Club president Adams presented Roggie with a coin inscribed with the Rotary Four Way test, and shared reflections of Roggie's commitment to youth in his role as a hockey referee for the Parks and Recreation department. Roggie is a committed student athlete and has contributed significant time to his own athletic pursuits.

He has also helped younger players hone their skills by designing and hosting sports camps for elementary aged youth. Roggie will attend Colorado Mesa University in the fall and will major in History and play hockey for CMU.

We will host two additional scholarship recipients at our meeting on Friday, May 30th.
