The St. Patrick's Day meeting was a good one.  Bonnie had the tables decorated with candy, St. Patricks day bracelets, and a lucky Irish scratch card.  The Elk's staff went all out with Corned Beef and Cabbage and Spring was in the air.  It was only fitting that our speaker was Dan Roper, Parks Superintendent for the City of Glenwood Springs.

President-Elect John Wells filled in for President Steve Swanson (under the weather) and did a great job of running the meeting.  Today we also tested the club OWL and had a couple of members join the meeting remotely (stay tuned for making this a permanent option).  Steve Shute lead a rousing rendition of "I'm Looking Over a Four-Leaf Clover" and Keith Eickelman won the drawing; the luck of the Irish was with Keith.

Dan presented on many upcoming Parks projects and Glenn Vawter and Floyd Diemoz provided Dan with a little history on the Strawberry Day Queens.  We learned about some of the upcoming projects and got an update on the club contribution to the Sayre Park Playround Project.  We also had some discussion pertaining to the Rotary Gazebo at Sayre Park.
