We collected 12,077 pounds of material. That equals:
- Environmental impact of 16,834 pounds of greenhouse gas reductions
- Social impact of 4 weeks of employment for a worker with disabilities
- Economic impact of $3,846 in social return on investment (taxpayer savings)
Donations collected equaled $4,920.00. Community members were very grateful for the opportunity to have a convenient location to recycle and the financial underwriting from our local Rotary Club and our Rotary District.
