MARCH:  “Little gifts” to brighten Easter food baskets for elders – 100 baskets

The baskets brought much joy.  We received these stories along with a thank you:

"Just wanted to share the experience of delivering Easter baskets to my little community in Del Muerto area. The joy of seeing my elderly people was a blessing. I had one grandma cry out with tears, give me two hugs before I left her. She also give God thank you, for us.
Another grandma, her face just lit up with a BIG smile from her doorway and started to wave when she saw her son return with her basket.

Cheii decided to be strong enough to carry his own basket back in. After almost missed him. I honk and knock on his door. Right when I was about to drive off he ran! He was ready to receive his basket.

I had one grandma hearting broken. We hugged and cried together. She had just lost her husband two days ago. Give encouragement to stay strong and donated funds for her husband funeral expenses. I told her I'll be back to check on her this week. Going to her house was always a big ball of fun with laughs. Joking her and her husband. When we did try to laugh, we started to cry and hug again."
